Rated Local Trades helps you compare local businesses using their business profiles, service details and location information. You should always check qualifications, insurance and written quotations before work begins.
How do reviews work?
Reviews help you gauge a business’s reputation. As the platform grows, verified reviews and AI review summaries will be added to profiles.
Can I request a quote?
Yes. You can send an enquiry describing your job, and relevant local businesses can respond with a quote.
Is it free to use?
Yes. Searching for local trades and services and requesting quotes through Rated Local Trades is free for customers.
How do I choose the right tradesperson or service?
Compare service areas, business details and reviews, ask for a written quote, and check insurance and qualifications before work begins.
For tradespeople & service businesses
How do I list my business?
Visit the List Your Business page and answer a few quick questions — our AI drafts your profile from what you tell it, and you review everything before it is submitted. Every new listing is checked before it goes live.
Can cleaners and window cleaners list their business?
Yes. Independent cleaners, cleaning companies and window cleaners are welcome alongside traditional trades. Choose “Cleaners & Cleaning Companies” or “Window Cleaners” as your category when you create your free listing.
Is there a free listing?
Yes. A free listing includes your business name, trade, service area and basic contact details.
How do premium listings work?
Enhanced and featured listings offer more visibility, a fuller profile, a photo gallery, a website link and priority placement. These options are being rolled out.
Can I update my profile?
Yes. Once listed, you’ll be able to keep your profile, services and service areas up to date.
How do enquiries work?
Customers can send quote requests and enquiries, which are passed to relevant local businesses.
