Rated Local Trades is an online directory that helps customers find and contact independent local tradespeople. We provide information and introductions only. We do not carry out trade work, we are not a party to any contract between a customer and a tradesperson, and we do not act as the employer or agent of any tradesperson.

2. No endorsement or guarantee

Inclusion of a tradesperson in our directory is not a recommendation, endorsement, guarantee or warranty by us. We do not currently independently vet or “fully vet” the tradespeople listed, and much of the information shown is provided by the tradespeople themselves. Any “verification” indicators refer only to the specific checks described on the Website at the relevant time and should not be taken as a guarantee of a tradesperson’s qualifications, insurance, competence or conduct.

You should always carry out your own due diligence before engaging any tradesperson, including checking their insurance, qualifications, accreditations and references, and obtaining a written quotation and clear terms before work begins.
