How to choose a bricklayer
There is no single mandatory body, but look for a CSCS card (the Blue skilled card requires an NVQ Level 2), membership of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) or the Guild of Bricklayers, and photos and references from recent local work. Always check public liability insurance.
